Lotsa Layouts - "Jingle" - Christmas Bling LO
What a day! Was it a full moon and I missed it? I was super busy at work today and it just seemed like each new thing I tackled was harder and took longer than it should have. So glad today is done. I am working on club layouts tonight, but decided to take a break.
Here is a layout from December...I love the feminine colors of some of the Jingle papers. In this LO below you can see how soft the color scheme is and how it translates so sweetly for a feminine page. The LO has an origami tree...ask me, I will show you how to make your own, it really is quite easy. I actually made one out of green foil wrapping paper for my door at work. It was cute, if I say so myself.
Christmas Bling is the appropriate title for this girly LO. Hope it inspires you!! Peachy Heart Hugs, Debbie
Creative Cards - Boom-Di-Ada
Here is a sweet and simple card. It was created with the "happy" Boom-Di-Ada papers. I used a fiskars scallop punch for the yellow center piece and CTMH hollyhock ric rac and sparkle. This card is uplifting, at least I hope so. One of my scrapping friends has had a bit of a rough time lately and I am sending this on to her to brighten her day. I hope it works. Peachy Heart Hugs to all of you, Debbie

Cute little men and ladies...
I know the holidays are past, but I just was given the best gingerbread cookie recipe. And come on, these little guys are cute enough (and tasty enough) to eat all year round. My daughter and I had fun making them but more fun decorating them. Let me know if you like this recipe too, or share, if you have a good one...especially holiday cookie recipes.
I also bake annually with my neices and nephews, and Amanda, just before Christmas. I have a blast with them, and their parents get a little free time on Christmas Eve day. Here you can see what fun we have...
Then this year, we added gingerbread houses to the list...I have to say the boys got into this activity. They made two houses and here is the winning (best to them) house. They had a blast and the finished houses, and cookies, looked wonderful. We missed you this year Cody and Rusty!! Look at the fun you missed.
I will post this recipe a little later today or tomorrow. And if you have a recipe to share back, I would love to try it out. We LOVE to eat!! Especially sweets, yummy! Peachy Heart Hugs, Debbie

Yummy Recipe - Candy Cane Treats
Are you like me....the holidays are over and you are left with all these candy canes that no one ate or seems like they are going to eat? Well, I found this receipe...I love to recycle - I had not thought of recycling food, but here you go...
These would be great for Valentine's Day right?? I am going to try this with the girl scout troop. The receipe is really easy. Take your candy canes, using wax paper, lay out your candy canes in pairs facing each other. Melt bakers chocolate or chocolate bark in the microwave. Place the melted chocolate carefully into a piping bag or a ziplock baggie, do not fill more than half full. Snip a corner off the baggie if that is what you are using. Fold the excess piping bag over your hand or the baggie and gently squeeze the chocolate out of the bag and into the space between the hearts. Working before the chocolate sets, you can add sprinkles to them to decorate. Allow time to harden, I let mine harden in the refrigerator for a couple hours. This is a great way to use up those left over candy canes that seem to be in the house still come Easter. Hope you enjoy yours. Peachy Heart Hugs, Debbie

Don't you just love a blue and brown color combo?? That's what you get in this kit and they are super pretty, don't you think? These papers are from CTMH's new paper kit...Topstitch. Altered Tic Tac Boxes
I love to recyle an item especially when it turns out as cute as these recyled Tic Tac holders. In winter, these are an ideal little "happy" for your Secret Pal or perhaps for the scouts in your troop. Email me and I will share the directions with you. Oh yeah, recently I saw in the drug store, a larger version of the Tic Tac box, so keep you eyes open for them, they would be super cute to use too! Peachy Heart Winter Hugs, Debbie
Bee Mine!!
The images seen below come from the the current Petite Perks...Bee Mine. Aren't the images sweet. Petite Perks is a stamp set earned through me. Ask me how to earn your own set... I will be ordering this set later in the month and then making some cards with it...be watching for a future posting, called Bee Mine Artwork. Happy scrappin'! Peachy Heart Hugs, Debbie

Brrr! I am stuck at home with Strep Throat, poor me. Thought I would post a nice card for winter. It was not my original idea to use the CTMH corduroy brads for the ear muffs....not sure who the creative gal was that came up with it, but I LOVE it...they are so cute. Here in Middle Georgia, we rarely get snow, so images of snowmen and snowballs can sometimes leave me wondering if I will ever get to use them. Even though we don't have snow right now, we do have very cold weather, at least it is to me. So visions of snowmen and cold were easy to conjure today. Hope you like this cute guy. He is from the CTMH Stamp Set called "All Decked Out", which was a stamp of the month, I think in Oct or Nov 08, and I believe still active. Hope you like him. Stay warm and let me see your winter cards. Happy Paper Crafting Month!! Peachy Heart Hugs, Debbie
House Card
This super cute card is a variation on the flower pot card. I am thinking of trying to create something similiar for Valentine's day. If I get it done before 14 Feb, I will share, LOL! If you would like instructions or my simple drawn diagram, email me and I will gladly share it. Have fun creating your own card. Peachy Heart Hugs, Debbie

Girlfriend, You Rock
I finished my swap, my second slot layout, yay me!
This one was made with one of the new CTMH paper kits, "You Rock", which boasts the colors: Olive, Indian Corn Blue, Goldrush and Outdoor Denim.
I used several new stamps, including a couple favorites in our new Idea Book.
I also used two brand new products, Irresistables, Lotsa Dots, for the title and I used Top Coats, Rockin' version.
Here is the right side of the layout. I used two Flip Flaps on this side, to increase the number of photos used. The page protector made the photo a little cloudy, sorry about that.
The last picture, shows the artwork in the flaps when opened.
I hope my fellow swappers like it.

Altered My Creations Display Album
Have you been following the daily posting on CTMH's National Paper Crafting Month Blog? I hope so. If not, you need to check out the posts on a daily basis so that you can see the cute artwork and learn the tips or techniques shown and post a comment for the daily drawing to win a Felicity kit.
The post yesterday, reflected info on an altered My Creations Display Album, which was made with the Felicity papers and stamps. I love alterables. I hope you will try your hand at altering an item; holler at me if you have any questions. And good luck on entering the give-a-way!! Peachy Heart Hugs, DebbieCard - Boy's Play Date Invitation
Here is the card I made for my swap, using CTMH papers from the Caboodle Level 2 paper kit. Unfortunately, when I ordered the two complimentary stamp sets, I typo'd one and got the wrong set. I ended up only with one stamp set, "Boys at Play" which is a cute set, but limiting, in that is only signage with sayings, so I added the owl image and phrase from a different set. All I can say, is I am not in the practice of making cards for boys, so my result is not quite what I was going for. I did use a cuttlebug embossing folder for the owl on the cover of the card and I made the envelope using one of the CTMH Envelope Flats...not my best work in MHO but hopefully something on it will inspire you. Caboodle
Don't you just love these papers!! They are from one of the newest CTMH paper kits... Caboodle. I used one of the stamp sets created to compliment the papers, C1386 "Boys at Play". Since my swapping friend and I both have daughters, I played down the masculine tone and pumped up the sorbet and girly influence. I also used the "Key to my Heart" stamp set and Solos L, F, and P. I plan to make a card to go along with the layout using the same papers.
I need to finish up my card so I can start on the next layout and card set. I will be using another new paper kit for these..."You Rock". I love swapping, just don't have the time to do it so much anymore.
Since I cannot sleep, I thought I would post the layout...I guess I should get back to working on my card, using a watercolor brush to color in the details, and it is taking a little while to finish it up. Hopefully I can post it tomorrow...better get going so I can finish it up. Thanks for looking at my work. Peachy Heart Hugs, Debbie
